Underwater Observatory Park
The Underwater Observatory Park is located in southern Eilat and is one of the city’s most prominent attractions. Here you’ll be able to observe a variety of fish, sharks, colorful coral, seals, sea turtles, and more! The park has aquariums with rare and dangerous fish, plus shark and sea turtle pools. Great for nature and animal lovers!

Eilat Ornithological Park
This bird park serves as a resting and feeding site for millions of migratory bids that arrive in Israel annually, stopping here to rest on their long journey between Africa, Asia, and Europe. The park was built up on an abandoned landfill. It includes a beautiful lake, trees, and hiking paths for visitors to observe the birds.

Mosh Beach
Mosh Beach is a beautiful beach located at the beginning of the city’s southern coastal strip. The area is an ecological beach and aims to preserve the natural environment and resources. Entrance to Mosh Beach is free. Just like similar beaches in Sinai, you can sunbathe from sunrise to sunset. The beach sells swimsuits, galabiyas, and even cigarettes. Once you enter, you’ll never want to leave.
The beach offers a vegetarian kitchen, open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The menu includes dishes with lots of tahina, tomato sauce, sour cream, and hot pepper.
The sun and music help you keep track of the time: Indian music in the morning, African music around lunchtime, and reggae in the evening. Sometimes on special occasions, you’ll even end up singing around the campfire.
The beach is open until midnight on Sunday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, it is open until 8:00 PM.

Attractions in the Arava

The Arava region is considered one of the most beautiful regions in Israel and it’s filled with so many fun and exciting attractions.

Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve - This nature reserve is located in Kibbutz Yotvata on the Arava Highway. The park is a breeding and re-acclimation center administered by the Israel Nature Reserves and National Parks Authority. Animals at the reserve include ostrich, oryx, addax, and wild ass. Some are kept in enclosed areas.
There are also reptiles in the reserve, kept in large, transparent glass enclosures. They may be dangerous and venomous, but are no less fascinating to watch. The site is certainly worth the visit, also thanks to its proximity to the delicious market of Kibbutz Yotvata.

Park Timna - One of Israel’s largest parks. Created in 1982 and located about 20 km (12 miles) from Eilat. In the center of the park, Mt. Timna rises to a height of about 450 and is surrounded by distinct natural phenomena, such as Solomon's pillars, and interesting and important historical sites, such as copper mines and rock paintings dating from thousands of years ago. The park is especially recommended for lovers of history, archaeology, and geology.

Eddie’s Hideaway
Eddie’s Hideaway is one of the oldest restaurants in Eilat. From its founding in 1979 up to today, Eddie’s Hideaway offers an original and varied menu. The menu offers a wide variety of first courses, such as carpaccio, stuffed mushrooms, and foie de gras with date jam, alongside a large selection of main dishes, including various fish, seafood, meat, and pasta options. Eddie’s Hideaway also has a special kids menu. The restaurant’s famous dish is the Dijon fillet with brown sugar, mustard, and garlic.
